Pixels run near-stock Android. The eSIM install path is the reference one: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM.
Step-by-step
- Connect to Wi-Fi first.
- Open the settings menu at the path above and tap Add eSIM.
- Choose Scan QR code and scan the code from your Openline confirmation email on a second device — or tap Enter it manually and paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from the same email.
- Confirm the download, name the plan Openline.
- Enable Data roaming on the Openline line and select it as Mobile data.
OEM tips
- On Google Pixel stock Android the eSIM profile survives factory resets only if you keep the same account and choose the "restore" flow — if you truly wipe, reinstall from your Openline account.
- Some Google Pixel stock Android builds ship with an aggressive data-saver mode that can block eSIM data profile downloads. Turn Data Saver off during install.
- If the Openline line shows up but no data flows, confirm the APN is set to
openline(or blank so the profile's default is used).
