Activating Openline in Germany

  • Telekom, Vodafone DE, and O2 are partners
  • Rural Bavaria and eastern Germany have coverage gaps — 4G may be spotty

Standard activation flow

  1. Land, turn airplane mode off.
  2. Confirm Openline line is on with Data Roaming enabled.
  3. Wait 30–90 seconds for automatic registration.
  4. If nothing after 3 minutes, manually select a partner network: Settings → Cellular → Openline → Network Selection → Automatic OFF → pick a partner from the list above.

If activation fails in Germany

  • Confirm your plan covers Germany (check the Openline app).
  • Try a different partner network from the manual selection list.
  • Toggle airplane mode.
  • If nothing works, the venue Wi-Fi may be blocking your session — move location.
