Activating Openline in USA

  • Verizon-locked iPhones may reject third-party eSIMs — confirm your phone is unlocked before travel
  • US carriers Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile all have partner agreements with Openline; all three networks work depending on location
  • Rural US may only have T-Mobile — expect weaker coverage

Standard activation flow

  1. Land, turn airplane mode off.
  2. Confirm Openline line is on with Data Roaming enabled.
  3. Wait 30–90 seconds for automatic registration.
  4. If nothing after 3 minutes, manually select a partner network: Settings → Cellular → Openline → Network Selection → Automatic OFF → pick a partner from the list above.

If activation fails in USA

  • Confirm your plan covers USA (check the Openline app).
  • Try a different partner network from the manual selection list.
  • Toggle airplane mode.
  • If nothing works, the venue Wi-Fi may be blocking your session — move location.
