Activating Openline in Turkey

  • Turkcell and Vodafone TR are partners
  • Some hotels partner with local telcos and block competing eSIMs on venue Wi-Fi — install before check-in

Standard activation flow

  1. Land, turn airplane mode off.
  2. Confirm Openline line is on with Data Roaming enabled.
  3. Wait 30–90 seconds for automatic registration.
  4. If nothing after 3 minutes, manually select a partner network: Settings → Cellular → Openline → Network Selection → Automatic OFF → pick a partner from the list above.

If activation fails in Turkey

  • Confirm your plan covers Turkey (check the Openline app).
  • Try a different partner network from the manual selection list.
  • Toggle airplane mode.
  • If nothing works, the venue Wi-Fi may be blocking your session — move location.
