Openline works fully on Android 13, which added better dual-eSIM juggling and per-app APN routing. The core install flow (Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM) is the same across every OEM that supports the Android reference implementation.

What's specific about Android 13

  • Per-line Data Roaming and Mobile Data switches are exposed clearly and stay stable through reboots.
  • eSIM profiles survive OS updates cleanly on Android 13; you should not need to reinstall after upgrading.
  • The APN is auto-configured from the eSIM profile — you almost never need to touch it manually.

Known edge cases

  • Some phones on Android 13 show the Openline line as "SIM 2" instead of "Openline" in the status bar. That's cosmetic; the connection is the same.
  • On very early Android 13 builds shipped in 2024, dual-eSIM slots were limited to one active at a time. If you're on that build, update the phone; every OEM has since patched this.

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
