A Spain country plan or Europe regional plan works well for the Camino. You'll be in rural Galicia and northern Spain with mixed 4G coverage.
What to expect
- Coastal sections and cities (Santiago, León): strong 5G.
- Meseta and small villages: 4G/LTE, occasional weak spots.
- Mountain passes (O Cebreiro): intermittent signal, sometimes only 3G. Download offline maps.
Battery packs matter more than a beefy data plan on the Camino. 5 GB is more than enough for two weeks if you're not streaming.
