Activating Openline in Australia

  • Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone AU are partners
  • Outback coverage is Telstra-only — the others cover cities and major highways

Standard activation flow

  1. Land, turn airplane mode off.
  2. Confirm Openline line is on with Data Roaming enabled.
  3. Wait 30–90 seconds for automatic registration.
  4. If nothing after 3 minutes, manually select a partner network: Settings → Cellular → Openline → Network Selection → Automatic OFF → pick a partner from the list above.

If activation fails in Australia

  • Confirm your plan covers Australia (check the Openline app).
  • Try a different partner network from the manual selection list.
  • Toggle airplane mode.
  • If nothing works, the venue Wi-Fi may be blocking your session — move location.
