Activating Openline in South Korea

  • SK Telecom and KT are partners
  • Older Korean phones don't support eSIM — this is a Korean market quirk, not Openline

Standard activation flow

  1. Land, turn airplane mode off.
  2. Confirm Openline line is on with Data Roaming enabled.
  3. Wait 30–90 seconds for automatic registration.
  4. If nothing after 3 minutes, manually select a partner network: Settings → Cellular → Openline → Network Selection → Automatic OFF → pick a partner from the list above.

If activation fails in South Korea

  • Confirm your plan covers South Korea (check the Openline app).
  • Try a different partner network from the manual selection list.
  • Toggle airplane mode.
  • If nothing works, the venue Wi-Fi may be blocking your session — move location.

Still stuck?

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
