Almost every phone released after 2019 supports eSIM, and the Openline app runs a full compatibility check the moment you sign up — you don't have to guess.
Fast checks
- iPhone: any iPhone XS or newer sold outside mainland China supports eSIM. US iPhone 14 and newer are eSIM-only.
- Android: Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer (most regions), most Xiaomi flagships from 2022, OnePlus 11 and newer.
- Not supported: physical-SIM-only devices, some MVNO-locked handsets, and older Huawei models sold in China.
If our compatibility checker misses a restriction on your device and your Openline plan doesn't install, that's on us — we refund it in full.
Still stuck?
Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:
- Live chat — inside the Openline app or at openline.com
- Email — ask@openline.com
- WhatsApp — wa.me/15554842461
- Messenger — m.me/askopenline
- Contact form — openline.com/contact
- Social DMs — @askopenline on X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
