The Pixel eSIM flow uses your Openline purchase code turned into a QR (or one-tap install link on Android 13+).

Steps

  1. On the Pixel, go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
  2. Tap + Add eSIM → Download a SIM instead?.
  3. Present the QR from your Openline confirmation email, from My Codes in the Openline app, or from openline.com/start after pasting your purchase code. Scan it with the Pixel's camera.
  4. Confirm and name the SIM Openline.
  5. Turn Data roaming on and choose Openline as Mobile data.

Skip the QR entirely

If you're on Android 13+ and got a one-tap install link in the confirmation email, just open the email on the Pixel and tap the button — the Cellular Setup opens automatically. No camera scan needed.

Manual code entry

On step 3, tap Need help? → Enter it manually and paste the activation string from your web account (My Codes → Show manual activation string).

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
