On Huawei devices with eSIM support (P50 Pro global, Mate 40 Pro global, some regional variants):
- Settings → Mobile network → SIM management.
- Tap Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR from your Openline confirmation email, from My Codes in the Openline app, or from openline.com/start after pasting your purchase code. Or paste the activation code manually.
- Confirm and turn on Data roaming.
- Set the Openline plan as Default mobile data.
Note on China-market Huawei phones
Huawei phones sold in mainland China typically lack eSIM hardware. If your Huawei is a China-market unit, Openline can't be installed at all — the physical SIM slot is your only option, which Openline doesn't support.
Still stuck?
Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:
- Live chat — inside the Openline app or at openline.com
- Email — ask@openline.com
- WhatsApp — wa.me/15554842461
- Messenger — m.me/askopenline
- Contact form — openline.com/contact
- Social DMs — @askopenline on X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
