This is the manual QR path — the alternative to one-tap for older iOS versions or when you're redeeming a code you didn't buy yourself. The QR is just a machine-readable form of your purchase code.

Install on iPhone (iOS 16 and later)

  1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and unlocked (not carrier-locked).
  2. Open the QR code — from the confirmation email, from My Codes in the Openline app, or from openline.com/start after pasting the purchase code.
  3. On iOS 17+: iOS opens the Cellular Setup sheet automatically after scanning. On iOS 16: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code, then scan.
  4. Label the line Openline.
  5. In Settings → Cellular, tap the Openline line and turn on Data Roaming.
  6. Set the Openline line as Cellular Data for the country you're travelling in.

That's it. Your data works the moment you land — no APN configuration needed.
