Where signal works

  • Nairobi and Mombasa: strong 4G/5G.
  • Masai Mara: partial coverage from Safaricom towers, patchy inside the reserve.
  • Serengeti (Tanzania): limited coverage.
  • Amboseli, Tsavo: better than the deep Mara.

Sizing: 10 GB / 15 days is enough for messaging, sharing photos, some video calls when in range. For blogging with photo uploads, go bigger. Consider a satellite communicator for true off-grid safety.
