Yes — any unredeemed purchase code can be gifted, any time. You don't need a special "gift" option at checkout; every purchase is already a bearer code you can hand over.
Two paths
A) Buy specifically to gift. Go to openline.com, pick the destination plan for the recipient, pay, and forward the purchase-code email to them. Or send the code by message. Or print it on a card. Or share the QR.
B) Gift a code you bought earlier and never used. Sign in at openline.com → My Codes. Any unredeemed code is still yours to give away. Copy it, share it via the app's share sheet, or "Unlock from account" to fully hand it off.
The recipient doesn't need an account
They redeem anonymously at openline.com/start with just the code — no sign-in, no email required to install. See Everything about gifting your Openline purchase code for every method.
The plan clock starts on arrival, not at gift time
The recipient can hold the code for as long as they want. The plan window only begins the first time the eSIM attaches to a partner network at the destination. So a code bought today for a trip in six months is completely fine.

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:
- Live chat — inside the Openline app or at openline.com
- Email — ask@openline.com
- WhatsApp — wa.me/15554842461
- Messenger — m.me/askopenline
- Contact form — openline.com/contact

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
