Every Openline purchase code IS a gift card in practice. It's a bearer instrument — anyone with the code can redeem it — and it can be handed off in whatever wrapping suits the occasion.

What we offer today

  • Buy any destination plan at openline.com.
  • Deliver the purchase code however you like: email, message, printed card, QR image, one-tap install link, physical envelope.
  • Recipient redeems anonymously at openline.com/start — no Openline account required.

What we don't yet offer (on the roadmap)

  • Value-based codes ("a $50 Openline gift card" the recipient converts to any plan of their choice). Not yet — you pick the plan at purchase.
  • Physical gift-card packaging. Not sold today; a printed card with the QR works well as a DIY version.

Practical tip

For a "surprise" gift where you're not sure of the destination, buy a Global plan or a broad regional plan (Europe, Asia, Americas). The recipient uses it wherever they end up going.

Still stuck?

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
