No — each redeemed Openline eSIM lives on one device at a time. This is a GSMA requirement, not an Openline one: an eSIM profile is bound to a specific device's EID.
What that means for the purchase-code model
Each Openline purchase code produces exactly one eSIM profile when redeemed. If you want simultaneous connectivity on multiple devices, you have two options:
- Buy multiple purchase codes — one per device. Same plan, same destination, different codes. Each device redeems its own code and gets its own data allowance.
- Redeem on one device and use it as a hotspot — the other devices ride the Wi-Fi.
Moving the same plan between your devices
If you're the same person switching phones (not adding another user), use My Codes → Reinstall on the plan. The old profile becomes invalid the moment the new one activates. The plan and its remaining data move to the new device.
Still stuck?
Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:
- Live chat — inside the Openline app or at openline.com
- Email — ask@openline.com
- WhatsApp — wa.me/15554842461
- Messenger — m.me/askopenline
- Contact form — openline.com/contact
- Social DMs — @askopenline on X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
