Any unredeemed purchase code in your Openline account can be gifted at any time. There's nothing special about "gifting" — you just hand over the code.
Find the unused code
- Sign in at openline.com → My Codes, or open the Openline app → My Codes.
- Any code marked Unredeemed is available to gift, regardless of when you bought it.
- Tap the code to see all the sharing options.
Send it to the recipient — pick one
- Share button in the app → send via message, email, AirDrop, whatever share sheet you use.
- Copy the code from the web dashboard and paste it into a message.
- Show QR → save the image and email/text/print it.
- Install link → the recipient taps once on an eSIM-capable phone; the eSIM installs directly.
- Unlock from account → the code detaches from your dashboard entirely. Useful when the handoff is permanent (you'll no longer see it in your history, refund window, or reinstall options — the new holder does).
Recipient side
They redeem at openline.com/start (anonymous, no account needed), or in the Openline app under Redeem code, or in their own web account under My Codes → Add code.
Doesn't the code expire?
No. Openline purchase codes don't expire on their own. A code you bought a year ago is just as valid as one you bought yesterday.
What if the recipient doesn't want it either?
Both of you have the same options: pass it on again to someone else, or contact ask@openline.com for a refund to the original purchaser's payment method (as long as the code is still unredeemed).
Still stuck?

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
