Quick Transfer is Apple's Bluetooth-based flow for moving an eSIM from one iPhone to another without a QR code. It works for most carrier eSIMs, and Openline is one of them.
Steps
- Put both iPhones near each other, both signed in to the same Apple ID (recommended, not strictly required).
- On the new iPhone, go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Transfer From Another iPhone.
- Confirm the transfer on the old iPhone when prompted.
- Wait 30–60 seconds. The Openline profile moves; the old iPhone's Openline line becomes inactive.
- On the new iPhone, turn Data Roaming on for the transferred Openline line and set it as Cellular Data.
If Quick Transfer fails
Some countries and Openline plans don't support Quick Transfer at the RSP level. Fallback: sign in at openline.com and use Reinstall eSIM to get a fresh QR for the new phone. That path always works.
Still stuck?
Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:
- Live chat — inside the Openline app or at openline.com
- Email — ask@openline.com
- WhatsApp — wa.me/15554842461
- Messenger — m.me/askopenline
- Contact form — openline.com/contact
- Social DMs — @askopenline on X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
