The iPhone Camera can scan a QR code and offer to install the eSIM, but it's not the most reliable path. If Camera fails, use the Settings path instead — it's more forgiving.
The Settings path
- Settings → Cellular → Add Cellular Plan.
- Point the iPhone camera at the QR shown on a second device (laptop, print-out, tablet — not the same iPhone).
- If scanning still fails, tap Enter Details Manually and paste the SM-DP+ address and Activation Code from your Openline confirmation email.
Manual entry looks tedious but works 100% of the time. It's the emergency backup we always recommend.

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:
- Live chat — inside the Openline app or at openline.com
- Email — ask@openline.com
- WhatsApp — wa.me/15554842461
- Messenger — m.me/askopenline
- Contact form — openline.com/contact
- Social DMs — @askopenline on X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
