This usually means the phone is connected to a network but the data path isn't working.

Checklist

  1. Confirm Cellular Data is turned on and set to the Openline line.
  2. Confirm Data Roaming is on for the Openline line (must be on for travel eSIMs).
  3. Turn Wi-Fi off temporarily — some phones stay on a dead Wi-Fi network instead of using mobile data.
  4. Toggle airplane mode on for 30 seconds, then off.
  5. On Android, check the APN (see the APN article).
  6. Restart the phone.

If you use a VPN or content-blocker profile, disable it temporarily to rule it out.

Still stuck?

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
