That's coverage — rural areas away from Tier-1 5G/LTE cells may only offer 2G or 3G legacy service. Openline routes you to whatever the partner network offers, so if the partner has no 4G/5G presence, you'll drop to 2G.

What to do

  • Move toward a town centre if possible.
  • Manually pick a different partner network in Cellular Settings — one Tier-1 may have better rural coverage than another.
  • Some countries (Turkey, Egypt, parts of Africa) have shut down 2G/3G entirely; if you're in one of those and Openline can't hold LTE, the local coverage genuinely doesn't reach you here.

Still stuck?

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
