Some home carriers (notably T-Mobile US "free" international roaming) auto-enable roaming and hide the switch. To make sure Openline handles data instead:

  • Settings → Cellular → your home line → Data Roaming: turn it off. If the switch is greyed out, contact your carrier to disable it server-side.
  • Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data: explicitly set this to Openline (not "Allow Switching").
  • Turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching.

Now the phone uses Openline for data no matter what your home carrier says.

Still stuck?

Reach Openline support 24/7 through any of these channels:

When you write in, include your purchase code (the OL-… code we emailed you) and, if the eSIM is already installed, its ICCID (Settings → Cellular → tap the Openline line). That's enough for us to find your plan and diagnose without back-and-forth.
